DBQuest
A retro cRPG
The Original DBQuest.
DBQuest is a DOS based computer role-playing game (cRPG). I created it in a cRPG editor called DCGames in the late 90s, then put it up for free download on as many sites as I could. Back then it was common to make things and give them away.
DCGames used a Pascal-like scripting language called DCScript and featured Ultima 5-like gameplay. To play the game now, you'll need to run it in DOSBox or go to the Internet Archive link below where it'll run in a browser. I was young when I wrote this and it was the 90s so try to keep that in context. Gameplay is similar to the old Ultima tile based cRPGs.
DBQuest Godot
I'm slowly remaking my old game in Godot. It's not ready yet though, so until release please see the links below to play the old DOS version.

Scan for Viruses
Feel free to scan my files using VirusTotal. In Windows you can run a Windows Defender scan instead. Best practice says that all files downloaded from the internet should be scanned for viruses - so scan away!
